Antique Mother of Pearl Dog & Sword Pin

This is an exquisite pin made of Mother of Pearl with gold accents. The dog's head is essentially the handle of the sword. I don't know what the significance of this pin is, I suppose it could be purely decorative in nature. Whatever it is.....it is lovely and nicely done! This would make a wonderful gift for the dog lover in your family! It measures 2 1/4" long and 3/4" at the widest. It has a c-clasp.  SOLD!
