It was designed by Ekstrom for Hjellegjerde Mobler in 1972 and made in 1984. The design is very sculptural AND practical. The chair is actually designed to be very comfortable and I can attest to the fact that it is! You can sit forwards or sideways with your legs over an arm, or backwards with your legs going through the space in the back. It is very good for your back!
Children love to climb and play on this chair because it is soft and comfy with no hard edges. It is designed from a metal sculpture surrounded by foam and covered in a woolen knit upholstery.
